The Executive Chairman,  Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State,  Hon. Abdulsalam Ayorinde has commissioned multiple projects within his 3 years in office.

The Chairman commissioned modern health facility at Sabo, Obasa , Oke- Ogun,  installation of Solar Powered Borehole at African Church Primary School in Ita-Iyalode,  installation of Solar Powered Borhole at ANLG Primary School, Akomoje, Abeokuta, construction of Modern office complex at Akomoje, rehabilitation of legislative chamber in the council Secretariat and rehabilitation of Habeeb Ajayi Multi Purpose Hall.

Ayorinde began the commissioning of the projects on the 16th of July 2023 and concluded on the 17 where by 11 projects executed were commissioned.

The Chairman while speaking with newsmen during the  commissioning of the primary Heath centre said he decided to build the health center in the community so that the people living within the community can have  access to proper health care, adding that it will also help to develop the community because there was  nothing like that in the area before.

Ayorinde added that all the projects executed  are people oriented projects, saying that he consulted the people  before doing any projects.

The Council Chairman appreciated the Governor of Ogun State , Prince Dapo Abiodun for giving him the opportunity to pilot the affairs of the local government.

He also appreciated the people of the local government for their support so far, saying that if not for them, the program would not  have been sucessful.

Also the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiu Hamzat in his speech commended the  Governor of Ogun State  Prince Dapo Abiodun  for supporting the Local Governments in the State, saying that Abiodun has given all the Council Chairmen the opportunity to perform.

Hamzat submitted  that the people can now confirm that Governor Abiodun has never tempered with local government fund within his five years in office, saying that all the commissioning of  projects people are seeing and hearing around is enough to believe that Abiodun has been supporting the local government.

He said "I believe very strongly that Prince Dapo Abiodun has been supporting the local governments, Today we are talking about Autonomy, i am saying this categorically without mincing words that Prince Dapo Abiodun has not been tempering  with local government fund that is why today with support of our dear Governor, we can see commissioning of projects . This is to tell you that Governor Dapo Abiodun has been supporting the local governments financially". He concluded

The Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola said he was impressed by the projects executed by the council chairman, saying that he  has performed well.

He also commended other Executive members of the local government and the residents of the local government for supporting the chairman to achieve within his 5 years in office.

The Olowu of Owu said '' infact, i am really impressed to witness this health center, i could remember when i came here with the chairman for the foundation laying now it has been completed. This is commendable. I really want to thank our chairman for doing this, this is a welcomed development and i want  thank the people of the local for supporting Hon. Ayorinde to achieve all these within his 3 years in office". Hr concluded.
