Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS) has urged Tax payers and Tax Agents to embrace its Electronic Tax Administration Portal (OGETAX), an online platform that allows easier and less stressful transactions of tax processes.

The Executive Chairman, OGIRS, Mr. Olugbenga Olaleye made this known in an interview with newsmen in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, advising them to visit the online portal to register and carryout all tax transactions without stress.

Mr. Olaleye said the agency was passionate about seamless remittance of revenue, noting that efforts were in top gear to link the portal with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government, such as the Bureau of Lands Survey, Industry, Trade and Investment, among others, saying it would continue to sensitise citizens of the state on the significance of prompt tax payment.

"For us at OGIRS, everything is digitalised, OGETAX makes payment easier, faster and less stressful for our taxpayers", he said.
