...dismisses Political Colouration Insinuation.

The town of Ijebu Igbo was abuzz as the Bayo Adekoya Foundation distributed free fuel to hundreds of motorcycle riders, popularly known as Okada riders. 

The event, held in collaboration with the NNPC station at Four-Roads, Atikori, saw each rider receiving no less than four liters of fuel.

The initiative was led by Hon. (Barr.) Bayo Adekoya, a former Local Government Chairman of Ijebu North and the immediate past Liaison Officer to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.

In an interview with journalists, Hon. Adekoya emphasized that the gesture was a means of giving back to the community that played a crucial role in his life and career. He dismissed any insinuations of political motivations, stating he had no plans to seek any political office.

"I became a Councillor, I was supported to become the Secretary to the Local Government, I was fortunate to become Local Government Chairman, and just recently, I culminated my service as the Liaison Officer to the Governor in Ijebu North. Why then won't I give back to my people in my little way? This is not my first and won't be the last; I am fulfilled yet hoping for better days," Adekoya remarked.

The recipients, including both indigenes and non-indigenes, expressed their gratitude to Hon. Adekoya, lauding his altruistic effort. 

The customized fuel-card distribution took place at Obada Under-bridge, Ijebu Igbo, and was widely appreciated by the local community.
