The Late retired Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Moyosore Olowonmi, has been described as a woman who contributed immensely to the growth of the Civil Service and one whose legacy would continue to live on.
The Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya stated this when he led the State Government delegation on a condolence visit to the residence of the deceased at Laderin Housing Estate, Abeokuta.
According to him, the news of the passage of Mrs. Olowonmi was received with a great shock, but with an assurance that she has gone to rest in the Bossom of her creator after playing her part very well in life.
"It is with a heavy heart that we are here to commiserate with the entire family on the passage to glory of Mrs. Olowonmi. Let me place it on record that she contributed immensely to the growth of the Civil Service while in active service, she played her part very well and her legacy will continue to live on", the HoS said.
Mr. Onasanya urged the family members to hold on to the legacy the late retired Permanent Secretary left behind and stand solidly behind her daughter because as a mortal, one is bound to leave this world one day.
Prayers were thereafter offered for the daughter, the entire family, and the Civil Service at large.
In her appreciation, the second cousin of the deceased, Mrs. Funmi Lawson, immensely appreciated the State Government for the honour done the family and submitted that her sister lived a fulfilled life as a Civil Servant who rose to the peak of her career and promised that the legacy left behind would be greatly managed.
Permanent Secretaries on the delegation included Mr. Lateef Benson, Mr. Oladipupo Ogunfowora, Engr. Olufisan Osiyale, Mr. Lanre Ogunyinka, and Engr. Adenike Ogunbona.
