A councilor, representing Isaga/Ilewo Orile, Honorable Moruf Erubami has bagged life time merit achievement awards from two communities under Isaga land, Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State.

The Communities who honored him were Kurere and Kogo. 

The communities described  Erubami as God's sent to them who has rescued them from the challenges, they had been facing for years.

The CDA chairman of Kurere, Comrade Oludare Akinbola wlife time merit award to Honorable Erubami on Monday at his Mobel Hotel said the councilor has proven to be the best councilor they have ever had.

Comrade Oludare while presenting the award from the Kurere community maintained that Erubami had been  reaching out to them before he became a councilor, saying that he is a politician with large heart.

Why explaining the reason behind the award, he said " When we asked our selves that what can we do to show our appreciation to our amiable councilor who has contributed immensely to the development of Kurere community and we  decided to honor him with a life time merit award for  a good performance.  We do not have money to give him but we believe honoring him would be the best. 

"Honorable Moruf Erubami is a God's sent to us, when he came he renovated the only health centre we have in our  community,  the health centre was in bad condition before but Erubami came to our aid and rehabilitated. Honorable Moruf Erubami is also responsible for the payment of monthly salaries of the nurses working at the  health center. These are some of the good deeds we have  benefited from him. We want him to come back for another term to continue in his good deeds. He concluded.

Also the Baale of Kurere village, Chief Pa Oyetade who was  represented by the  the Balogun of Kurere, Chief Yoola Fawunmi also appreciated Erubami for giving back to the people of Kurere community, urging him not to relent.

In another development, the people of  Kogo community under Ishaga in Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State also presented an award of excellence to Honorable Moruf Erubami, who is also the Asiwaju of Kogo Land for his excellent performance in the community.

The award was presented to him during the 4th 2024 Kogo Day held on Monday in the community. The Decendants of the of Kogo land who are within Ogun State,  outside and in diaspora were present during the celebration as they all commended Erubami for developing their community.

The Baale of Kogo  community, Chief Adewusi samson said they are so lucky to have a councilor like him, saying that they are all  feeling the positive impacts of Honorable Moruf Erubami.

The dignitaries present were, a member of Ogun State House of Assembly, representing Abeokuta North State Constituency, Hon. Babatunde Tella, Onisaga of Isaga who was ably represented by the Adele of Isaga, the, the chiefs, Baales and Decendants of Kogo community in diaspora.
