Admission into Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences for the 2024/2025 academic session has begun with the sales of post- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms for computer-aided screening, cautioning prospective candidates to be wary of fraudsters.
Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, made this known in a release, stating that application process, including the procurement and filling of the screening form, would be done online via, https://apply.ogcon.edu.ng.
Dr. Coker said cut-off mark for the UTME is 180, adding that applicants must possess West African Examination Council (WAEC) or National Examination Council (NECO) certificates, with at least five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in no more than two sittings.
She informed that eligible applicants must be at least 17 years old and must have sat for the 2024 UTME, while admission into the College would close on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
The Commissioner added that prospective candidates seeking change of institution to any of the three campuses in Abeokuta, Ilaro and Ijebu-Ode, should visit Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) office, provided they meet the cut-off mark, affirming state government’s commitment to promoting excellence in nursing education through its College.
