A former legislator in Ogun State, Hon. Isiaq Sunday Akamo has empowered over hundred members of All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta South Local Government with cash.
The beneficiaries were selected from ward 1 to 15 in the local government.
Dapo Abiodun Traders Association also benefited from the kind gesture of Hon. Akamo.
Akamo while presenting them the cash gifts at his S A Outreach office at Arinlese, Abeokuta promised to continue to remember his people for good, saying that he has enjoyed their full support.
He added that the kind gesture has been his tradition, saying that he has been doing for many years now in fulfilment of his promise and religious belief in the spirit of giving and sharing to the people.
He also used the occasion to congratulate the Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival, urging them use thiz year’s Eid-el-Kabir to pray fervently for Nigeria.
Akamo also opened a new office which according to him the office is meant to empower, support and assist people who needed financial and physical assistance for both young and the aged, particularly the pregnant women and the young children who are unable to pay their WAEC fees and obtaining a JAMB form.
Hon. Akamo in his welcome address used the opportunity to etend his deepest respect and appreciation who graced the occassion and inform them occassion the usefulness of his S A outreach office
The dignitaries present were the former Caretaker Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Nurudeen Ayorinde, former Vice Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Soremekun (mililo), Hon. Mutiu Balogun, Hon. Fayemi Dada and other Local Government APC Leaders
