Ogun State Government has released activities lined up to mark this year's Democracy Day on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, indicated that a special memorial prayer would hold at the family house of late Chief Moshood Abiola at Ọja Agbo, Gbagura, Abeokuta by 8:00 am.

The statement stated that the prayer would be followed by a commemorative lecture, with the theme, "June 12: Defining Moment in the Democratic Development in Nigeria", to be delivered by a Public Affairs Analyst, Mr. Richard Akinnola, at Hubert Ogunde Hall, June 12 Cultural Center Kuto, Abeokuta, beginning from 10:00 am.

The statement urged guests to be seated by 9:30 am.
