Another batch of Ogun State pilgrims has arrived at the Murtala International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, late on Tuesday night and were checked in at the Hajj camp.
The aircraft, which boarded 423 pilgrims, touched down at exactly 10:30pm Nigerian time amidst drizzling.
About 40 pilgrims from the state had earlier joined their counterparts from Lagos State on Monday, bringing the total number of pilgrims from the state returned so far to 463.
Speaking with newsmen, one of the pilgrims, who hails from Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Isiwat Ajala, expressed appreciation to Allah for the safe return of pilgrims from the holy land.
She, however, lauded the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as well as officials of the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for putting up a seamless and memorable Hajj exercise.
Speaking in the same vein, another pilgrim, Alhaji Fadilullai Tijani from Yewa North, expressed his gratitude to Allah that the state did not witness any casualty while the pilgrimage lasted.
He also gave a thumbs up for Governor Abiodun for organizing a hitch-free Hajj experience by putting round pegs in round holes, while praying for journey mercies for the next batch of pilgrims scheduled to depart Mecca for Nigeria on Thursday.
