The Osile of Oke-Ona Egbaland, in Ogun State, Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso on Monday officially conferred the Chieftaincy title of "Asoludero of Oke-Ona Egbaland the former Chairmanship aspirant in Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, popularly known as LOS.
Oba Tejuoso also presented a certificate of conferment to the politician.
The conferment which took place at Osile's palace, Sapon Abeokuta had in attendance dignitaries within the State and outside the State.
Oyegbola-Sodipo while speaking with newsmen expressed happiness over the new Chieftaincy title, thanking the monarch for finding him worthy of the title.
The public relations expert promised not to disappoint the people of Oke-Ona land, adding that he will serve the community holistically and contribute to the development of Oke-Ona land.
He said " Today, I have officially received the certificate of conferment of the Chieftaincy title of Oke-Ona, Egbaland. I am the the first "Asoludero of Egbaland. I feel challenged because for any form of recognition it is a call to greater level of service and i believe that service to humanity is a best walks of life. I promise to contribute my own quota to the development of Oke-Ona land.
"I want to specifically congratulate the Osile of Oke-Ona land, the royal Majesty, Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso on his 31st anniversary on the throne of his forefathers. I pray Kabiyesi will live long in good health and Oke-Ona will continue to prosper under his reign in Jesus's name" he concluded
