The people of Jobore town in Odogbolu Local Government, Ogun State have called on the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON on the issue of the advent of land grabbers, an incident the Community is experiencing for the first time in its existence.

The desperate and helpless residents of Jobore through Chief Jimoh Shittu, Olisa of Jobore; Prince Joseph Niyi Adebayo, Jobore Youth Leader; Alhaji Z. Ayodele Ogunbowale the Chief Imam of Jobore Mosque; Hon. Adesola Adekoya, Deputy Chairman, Community Development Association (CDA) and women in protest cried out for immediate intervention and protection from the vicious land grabbers who through grave vines were brought by some self serving indigenes for selfish reasons.

The grabbers and their attendant assists have invaded the peaceful community for the first time ever.

These ruthless individuals have no regard for humanity or dignity terrorising the people of the agrarian community forcefully and are on the brinks of taking away the ancestral lands of the community.

In the protest and Press Conference held, the leaders reiterated the dire need of prompt action from the State Government to save them from the menace.

Their pleas for the government were to stop the land grabbing and illegal acquisition. And for the grabbers with their cohorts be prosecuted to ensure adequate security to ensure their living well to sleep with their eyes closed.
