The Balogun of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, will be crowned the next Olubadan, according to media reports.

The next Olubadan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Third Republic, will ascend to the throne following the demise of Oba Lekan Balogun on Thursday.

The Nation reports that Olakulehin, who heads the Balogun line, is older than his predecessor. But his actual age could not be determined as of press time.

He hails from Ita Baale in Ibadan North East Local Government and has been a vocal member of the Olubadan-In-Council for the past ten years.
