The Chairman, Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State, Hon. Babatunde Emilola-Gazal, has assured residents of Ijebu-Ode and its environs to expect more developmental projects that would further promote their socio-economic well-being.
Hon. Gazal, who made this known during an interview with journalists in Ijebu-Ode, pledged his administration's commitment to ensure the provision of feasible projects that would be beneficial to people at the grassroots.
He pointed out that the council had embarked on impactful projects including, rehabilitation of NTA road, Legislative Council Chambers, abattoir at Odo Eran in Yemule, six blocks of classrooms at Christ Church Primary School, Porogun; facilitation of equipment for Primary Health Centre at Sabo Molode and Iyanro communities; construction of three blocks of classrooms at Moslem Primary School 1 and electrification of Oke Aje Market.
The Chairman further assured the people of his determination to continue to deliver on the ISEYA mantra of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s government.
"Though, there were financial challenges, the council has deployed strategies to move the local government forward within the limited resources available to it", he said.
The Local Government boss promised not to rest on his oars in the determination to serve and fulfil electoral promises to the people, saying the delivery of dividends of democracy across the council area was paramount.
