A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun State, Dr. Ololade Kehinde has commended the Senator, representing Ogun West Senatorial District , Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly  known as Yayi for instituting a scholarship award scheme for indigent students of his district.

The scholarship covers students of tertiary institutions across the country who are from Ogun West Senatorial District.

Ololade made the commendation in a statement personally signed by his media aide, Osoba Olajide and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.

He described the gesture  as a welcome development in Ogun West and Ogun  State generally, saying that the scholarship will serve as support measure for  students whose parents can not afford to pay their school fees.

The APC chieftain added that the scholarship is in fulfilment of Yayi's  campaign promise to the  people of his senatorial district 

Ololade submitted  that the scholarship will give the  indigent students the opportunity of acquiring quality education.

He said " This is very remarkable, Senator Yayi has done well and he has proven to his constituents that he is a man of his words because the scholarship scheme was a promise he made to his constituents during his electioneering campaign and now he has fulfiled the promise. He deserves commendation"

Ololade therefore encouraged all other privileged political office holders to extend the goodness to less privileged students in their wards local government and senatorial regions.
