Yoruba Afenifere Youth Organisation of Nigeria (YAYON) has inducted Hon. Moruf Erubami as the patron of the association.
The apex Yoruba youth organisation cuts across all Yoruba speaking states including part of Edo, Kogi, Kwara and Delta states.
The Ogun State Coordinator of the Yoruba group, Arch.Sodeinde Daniel during the induction said Erubami has contributed immensely to the development of his community.
According to the coordinator, Erubami is a complete epitome of Omoluabi culture and respect,who will always listen and heed to the call of the group anytime.
He also said that Hon. Erubami has always been an advocate of good moral behaviour among the youth,even those around him can testify to this.
In his words: "This conferment is not about money but about sacrifices an willingness to his community. We are very happy to have a man like him. He has supported many of our activities in the past, especially during the security challenges. He played a major role in our activities to stop it.
"He never gets tired,and he is the type that our well to do people, leaders, and political leaders should be emulating and looking forward to as a role model," he said.
Erubami in his speech said the honour and investiture was more of an assignment and said he was willing to take up the position and challenges attached.
“I am willing to be the patron of your association, I will play my part to support the association.
“Count me as a worthy member of the association because I will do everything I can to support you.” he said
