Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Bolu Owootomo, says the present administration is determined to ensure that developmental projects cut across the State, therefore seeking the utmost cooperation of its citizenry to facilitate sustainable projects for development.
This came to the fore when Hon. Owootomo held a meeting with stakeholders at Ibefun, Odogbolu Local Government area of the State, concerning the release of a parcel of land to investors which had been in contention between investors and indigenes of the community, having in attendance the Liken of Ibefun Ijebu, Oba Gabriel Adetoye, held at his palace in Ibefun, Odogbolu.
He emphasised that successful collaboration with investors would bring more benefits to the people, pointing out that cooperating with investors would fast-track development in the area, and enhance job opportunities as well as the welfare of the citizens.
Responding, Oba Adetoye appreciated the commissioner and his team for the visit, promising that concerned communities would be invited for dialogue and feedback would be related in due course.
Oba Adetoye noted that development was crucial to the communities involved, seeking the support of the State government to ensure that all benefits, needs, and social responsibilities of the communities involved were met.
