Preparations are in top gear by the Ogun State Government to construct bus stands and stations in Mowe, Ibafo, Arepo and Berger axis along the Lagos- Sagamu expressway.

           Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. Olugbenga Dairo revealed this while featuring on a Radio programme in Abeokuta, describing the initiative as an integral development, geared towards easing the movement of people and goods in these areas.

           Engr. Dairo noted that the project would reduce environmental pollution through reduction in emissions thereby promoting a cleaner and safer environment in the State. He solicited the support and cooperation of the people during the construction activity on the axis.                                      

           He stated that the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Powered Mass Transit Buses would be deployed to the corridors for cheaper and safer movement, adding that the processes of operating urban transportation were based on Infrastructure, Law Enforcement, Operation and Price Control.
