 The Media and Development Conference 2023, organized by the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), is set to take place from November 13 to 15, 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria, with the theme "Bridging Democracy, Development, Innovation, and Media Sustainability in West Africa."

 This conference aims to bring together a wide range of stakeholders, including media professionals, academia, donor agencies, policymakers, and tech innovators, to address critical issues related to media, democracy, and sustainable development in West Africa.

Participation in the conference will be open to a diverse group of stakeholders, including media professionals, tech innovators, NGOs, INGOs, development partners, think tanks, academia, and policymakers. The conference serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, ideas, and solutions to the pressing issues facing the region.
