A popular priest in Ogun State, Chief Ifadare Ayedun, popularly known as Agbotifayo has opened his multi-million naira ultra modern headquarters tagged "Agbotifayo Empire" in Isara Remo North, Ogun State.
The Ifa priest during the commisioning of the ultra modern headquaters disclosed that his aim of becoming Oracle is to let people know that with Ifa, everyone can afford affluence, live long and be protected.
Agbotifayo who is the fourth generation Oracle of his family said being an Ifa specialist doesn't amount to being dirty or wretched, adding that Ifa is synonymous with clealiness, luxurious lifestyles, and there is no reason for any oracle to remain analog intead of being ICT compliant.
The young Chief was of the opinion that it's high time Yoruba youths shun western culture and return to their roots for everything, be it success, money, healing and protection.
He lamented the life of pretence and denial that many elites live when it comes to identifying with their traditions.
"I choose luxurious lifestyles so that people, youths in particular will know that any traditionalists; Oracle (Babalawos) can be wealthy and live accordingly.
"Yes, we dwell in herbs, roots and prepare propitiations, it doesn't make us dirty and impoverished.
"Ifa is rich; it makes us wealthy, heals us from any ailments and do protects from evil forces.
"My advice to my fellow youths is that they should return to their roots, and forsake western culture that has been used to brainwash us.
"My great-grand father was a Renowned Oracle in Remoland, my grandfather also lived as Ifa Oracle, even my father is a living testimony that Ifa reigns in our family.
"Let me call on all youths to turn to Ifa in order that they may, in time, find their bearing in life.
"Ifa is wealth, Ifa is wellness, Ifa is safety", Agbotifayo boasts.
Chief Ifamajente Oluwaseun Sonaike, the Aseda-Awo of Ogun State (Ewi Awo Ilu Ipara Remo) while speaking with newsmen described Ifadare as a man of integrity, saying that he has been a straightforward person.
Chief Sonaike said the multi-million naira ultra modern headquarters is a welcome development in the world of traditions.
