Esemefa has congratulated Engr. Olugbenga Dairo , the commissioner for transportation over the introduction of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Mass Transit Buses.

The CNG buses  will revolutionize the entire transport sector and reduce the hardship being experienced by the residents of Ogun State  as a result of the recent removal of fuel subsidy by the federal government.

The Commissioner for Transportation; Engr. Olugbenga Dairo said that the unveiling of the buses marks an important milestone in the implementation of the state's transport policies and the state multi-modal transport plan, adding that the use of alternative and cheaper fuels is also one of the key reasons why the state government established the ministry of transportation in February, 2020.

Esemefa said that it is a  new development in Ogun State initiated by Governor Dapo Abiodun and the ministry of transportation headed by Engr.  Dairo.

Chief Ogunwale said that the initiative  will be  impactful in the  transport sector in the State, saying that the  masses will benefit a alot from it.

Esemefa added that the ministry has achieved a lot since its establishment since 2020, adding that Dairo has been a performing commissioner.

He commended him for his commitment towards changing the face of transportation system in Ogun State
