The Party Chairmen of All Progressive Congress, APC in the 20 local governments in Ogun State,  have congratulated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun  on his victory at the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Ogun State.

The tribunal, in its judgment on Saturday in Ogun State  dismissed the petition of the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Hon. Ladi Adebutu, and upheld the victory of Prince Dapo Abiodun.

The party chairman of Abeokuta South Local Governement, Hon. Henry Fagbenro who spoke to newsmen on behalf of other chairmen said that they were happy about the good news, saying that the court had affirmed the will of the people.

They also  praised the judiciary mostly the tribunal judges for their through analysis of the petition, their commitment to rule of law.

"The court’s decision reflects the voice of the people who cast their votes in the spirit of democracy and justice. This triumph stands as a testament that the majority of Ogun Residents really voted for Abiodun"

They pledged their support and commitment to working together with Dapo Abiodun  for the betterment of Ogun State.

"This was a moment for unity, we are calling on all citizens in the State  to join hands in the spirit of nation-building.

The chairmen  prayed for the Governor that his tenure be marked by success, peace, and prosperity for Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
