The Executive Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government, Mr. Omobolaji Oluwaseun Odusanya has commend the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Barrister Olivia Olubunkola Onabanjo, on the inaugural edition of The 2023 LGS Week, scheduled to take place from Friday, November 10th to Thursday, November 16th, 2023.

The Local Government Service Week tagged The Renewed Local Government Service, represents a significant stride towards ushering in a new era of service delivery for Local Governments in Ogun State as it embodies the core values, vision, and mission of the service, promising a more dedicated and professional approach to public service.

Mr. Mobolaji, assures the Chairman of the Commission of his unwavering support to ensure the success of this remarkable week. He encourages all staff members, both unified and non-unified, to actively participate in the various activities during this one-week event.

The schedule for the LGS Week is as follows:

-Friday, November 10th, 2023:

  - The LGSC will feature in a New Dawn program on OGTV at 7:45 am.

  - Jumat Service will take place at the Federal Secretariat Central Mosque, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

- Sunday, November 12th, 2023** - 10:00 a.m.:

  - Thanksgiving Service at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Bonojo, Ijebu-Ode.

- Monday, November 13th, 2023** - 10:00 a.m.:

  - Medical Outreach/Charity Programme at various health centers.

- Tuesday, November 14th, 2023** - 10:00 a.m.:

  - Public Lecture at the Oba's Complex, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

- Wednesday, November 15th, 2023:

  - 9:00 a.m. Road Show Walk from Oke-Mosan to Abeokuta South Local Government, Ake, and back to the Local Government Service Commission Oke-Mosan.

  - 2:00 p.m. Novelty Match between Male and Female Political Functionaries/Career Staffers of the Local Governments at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.

- Thursday, November 16th, 2023:

  - Award and Gala night at DLK Events Centre.

  - Red Carpet commences at noon, and the Award of Excellence starts at 2:00 p.m.
