The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun gave this assurance during the Convocation and Induction Ceremony of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Olabisi Onabanjo University, held at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu, said his administration had facilitated both human and financial investment in schools, especially tertiary institutions.

This funding is allocated for the enhancement of infrastructure in State-Owned Tertiary Institutions".

He implored the new inductees to represent the institutions with distinction, upholding the values of dedication and excellence in serving humanity, adding that it is vital to ensure the maintenance of the industry's best practices at all times.

Earlier in his remark, the Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Prof. Ayodeji Agboola urged the newly inductees to make it a point of duty to maintain the dignity of the institution, by making formidable impacts in society, through their profession, charging them to be good ambassadors of the State and keep the flag of the institution flying.

Speaking on behalf of other graduands, Taye Olawanle and Hafsoh Adejumo expressed their gratitude to God for the success in their desired academic pursuit, stating that the good educational policies of the State government and relentless efforts of lecturers had contributed to their accomplishments, promising to abide by the admonition.
