Ahead of the G20 Summit in India, President Bola Tinubu on Friday, September 8, received some Nigerian ministers for briefing.
According to a tweet by Aguri Ngelale, a presidential media aide, the ministers who met with Tinubu on Friday are those of Foreign Affairs and Industry, Trade and Investment.
Ngelale’s tweet read:
“H.E. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu receives comprehensive Foreign Policy & Economic Intelligence briefings from the Hon. Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Industry, Trade & Investment in preparation for tomorrow’s commencement of the G-20 Summit.”
The summit which will be held in Delhi, India, has been scheduled to take place on Saturday and end on Monday, September 11.
Apart from attending the summit, the president will meet with the Nigerian community in India.
Earlier, Ngelale had said that the president would use his time in India, through the various meetings and engagements, to attract global capital and foreign direct investments (FDI) to the country.
