The Asiwaju of Orile Imo, High Chief Olakunle Olalekan has  congratulated the Governor of Ogun State, Princd Dapo Abiodun Governor on his victory at the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Ogun State.

The tribunal, in its judgment on Saturday in Ogun State  dismissed the petition of the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Hon. Ladi Adebutu, and upheld the victory of Prince Dapo Abiodun.

Chief Olakunle In a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen described Abiodun's victory as well deserved.

"I  heartily congratulate His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his  victory at the Ogun State Election Petition Tribunal which concluded its sitting on September 30, 2023 with the verdict that the election that brought him in as governor was free and fair.

"I am happy to say that with this conclusion, the tribunal has effectively put a seal on the election and confirmed the decision of the majority of Ogun  people which overwhelmingly voted Dapo Abiodun as  governor.

He added that with this verdict, all the political gladiators across the parties should sheath their sword and cooperate with the governor for the development.

The community leader said Abiodun's  victory at the tribunal has affirmed the massive support he received from the people of Ogun  State during the governorship election.
