In continuation with the program lined up for two years in office of Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre Led Administration in Obafemi Owode Local Government.

Stakeholders Meeting has been held to give stewardship and to showcase the projects, programs and to know the area of interest to focus on in continuation of the good work in  the Council Area.

Council Boss said the objective of the meeting is to give thanks, presents the scorecard of activities in the last seven hundred and thirty days in office, to request from people the area yet to touch, to get feedback on the programs of government so far and to appreciates everyone that has contributed to the achievements so far.

He further thanked His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR CON, Governor, Ogun Stare for the confidence repose in him to lead the government in obafemi owode local government. He appreciated the good people for voting All Progressive Congress (APC) at the last governorship election in the state.

He further announced the release of scholarship being sponsored by the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) of Five hundred Tertiary Institution scholarship form which will be shared to the qualified sons and daughters of the council through councillors from wards, traditional rulers, Community Developments Association, National Youth Council of Nigeria and Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE).

In his goodwill message, Rt Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, former Speaker, Ogun state House of Assembly Adjudged Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre Led Administration as best performing Chairman, as he is the only Council boss who has proved himself through various projects across sectors of government in the last two years out of 20 local governments in Ogun state.

He also decorated him as the Grand Patron of National Youths Council of Nigeria with an Awards of Excellent, obafemi owode local government branch along side the Leader of the legislative Council, Hon. Kehinde Kayode Akinsola as Patron.

Subsequently, a press conference was held at the newly renovated conference room at the council secretariat to brief in details the projects and programs of government in the last two years and also respond to question from journalist.

Dignitaries includes Oba Taofeek Owolabi, Olu of Obafemi, Mrs. Nike Osoba, Commissioner II, Civil Service Commission, APC leaders among others.
