The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Abdulsalam Ayorinde has welcomed the first Baby at the Ikija/Ilugun health center, the project which was executed by him.
Ayorinde immediately he got the good news visited the health center to see the first child that was delivered at 4:25 pm yesterday.
According to him, this marks a special day for all the residents of Abeokuta North Local Government, especially the residents living in the community.
He submitted that he was proud that his administration witnessed such development
The Executive chairman while speaking with newsmen expressed joy and congratulated the mother of the newborn for the normal delivering of her baby.
He urged the parents take good care of the baby so that he would grow and achieve his full potentials in life.
Ayorinde lauded officials of the health centre for the good work being carried out and urged them to continue in that direction
The council chairman therefore donated cash gift to the mother of the new born baby as a way to support them in his little way.
He also called on the good people of Abeokuta North to key into the health insurance scheme being done by the Dapo Abiodun led administration in the state.
Ayorinde noted that he is alive today because he has health insurance and remember that he was the first to launch and donate health insurance to over a 100 people in Abeokuta North LG in his first 100 days in office.
The parents, mr and mrs Makinde appreciated the council chairman for the love he showered on them.
The dignitaries present were, the Vice chairman of the local Government, Hon.Oluajo the Deputy Leader of the house, Hon. Adebari, the councilor representing the ward, Hon. Lateef Akeyan and other personalities
