The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPC) sitting in Abuja has reserved judgment in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
Recall that Atiku and the PDP alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) rigged the election in favour of Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
They are therefore asking the court to void Tinubu’s election, declare Atiku winner, or order a fresh election.
The tribunal, after hearing arguments from both sides, reserved judgment to a date to be communicated to the parties in the case.
More details coming…
