Award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie joined presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja.
Obi and Baba-Ahmed are challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 25, 2023 poll as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The tribunal is set to resume hearing in the adoption of the written address by the Labour Party (LP) and Obi.
Adichie, who is a vocal critic of the current administration, has been a strong supporter of Obi’s presidential bid.
Moments ago, the court reserved judgment on the petition filed by Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The court asked for prayers as it nears judgement.
