Authority of Ijebu-Ode Local Government has commissioned Sabo- Molode and Gbelegbuwa Health centers, to enable residents of the communities to have access to qualitative health care.

          Speaking at the commissioning of the health centers, Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Emilola Gazal said affordable health care was one of the priorities of the present administration, saying the spirit of continuity in governance led to the completion of the projects.

          According to Gazal, "Let me thank my predecessor, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile for the construction of Sabo-Molode Health Center, which my administration is commissioning today. Government is a continuum, as a Local Government, we will make sure we give the health center necessary support for the use of the masses’’.

          Let me also thank the State government for giving us equipment to be used in the two health centers and also want to thank both Gbelegbuwa and Sabo- Molode Communities for their support towards the actualization of the project.

          Also speaking, the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Hon. Adesola Ogundare called for a collaborative effort from the community, for the growth and development of the areas, promising to offer the first baby delivered in the Sabo- Molode Health Center a gift.

          Responding on behalf of the benefiting communities, the Chairman Area   Community Development Council and Gbelegbuwa Community Development, Mrs. Abosede Alatileyin and Alhaji Mushafau Akewula respectively, applauded the council members for putting health care in the front burner of its administration, noting that the provision of the facilities would bring services closer to the people.
