A Councilor,  representing ward 15, Isaga-ilewo Orile,  Abeokuta North Local  Government, Ogun State , Hon. Moruf Erubami Ajani has been in the news since his assumption into office, and for the right reasons. 

Erubami has made history through the community services he has  rendered,  such as provision of boreholes, empowerment of his constituents, especially the youths, sponsoring education of some indigenes of Isaga Ilewo Orile and some other community services.

It was gathered that the award winning councilor within his two years in office, changed the lives of his constituents in Isaga Ilewo Orile after giving back to them.

A community called  Ekerin who had been facing difficulties in getting water for years,  Erubami immediately after  assuming office came to the aid of the people and provided them a borehole. He  personally funded the repair of a dysfunctional borehole servicing the people of Agunmona village in Isaga and donated a new generator to power it. 

Erubami in his spirit of empowering his constituents, gifted Motorcycles to four indigenes of the community. He renovated Kurere health center and placed the health attendant on monthly salary. 

He refurbished Borehole and provided a generator at Loki Village, Borehole at songote Village, Borehole at kogo Village, Solar street light at Atapa ikoyi Village , Street light at Ago fulani in Isaga and has placed Monthly salary of a teacher at songote primary school

Erubmi has also donated two sewing machines to young people in the local government  after undergoing a vocational training 

All the efforts made by the councillor so far has taken off pressures and demands that come from his ward to the local council.  He has truly reduced the burden on the local government in terms of requests and demands. The councilor has touched lives of many people not in his ward alone but the whole Abeokuta North Local Government which has earned him good name and several awards.

Erubami had been attending to the needs of his people at ward level. Because of this he was awarded the best councilor in Nigeria.

The ward 15  chairman, Mr Enitan Peter who spoke to our correspondent says "Hon Moruf Ajani Erubami has been performing wonderfully well since his inception not even in ward 15 Ilewo/Isaga alone, but in the whole of Abeokuta North Local Government, mention his name anywhere. He is the best Councilor in Nigeria, he has done so many empowerments in terms of Cash and kind. He gave out four motorcycles as empowerment, he provided borehole water for some villages. Hon Moruf Ajani Erubami makes people to always smile, he deserves more bigger political office in Abeokuta North.

A woman leader in Ishaga/ilewo Orile, Mrs Oluranti Ojelade says "Hon Erubami is a God sent to Ward 15 women in general. Giving cash gifts to widows. Always a shoulder to lean on. He has  supported the Women in the Community a lot

Also the chairperson of  APC in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde  maintained that Erubami has made APC in Ogun State  proud in his good deeds to his constituents.

She congratulated the councilor on his laudable achievement within  two years, urging other councilors to emulate him.

Akintunde  posited that the borehole projects and other projects undertaken in personal capacity of the lawmaker  has proven his  love for the progress of his ward, adding that the councior's name can never be forgotten.

A member of Ogun State House of Assembly,  representing, Abeokuta North State Constituency, Hon. Dr.  Tunde Tella commended the councilor for fulfiling his promise to the people of the community.

He said Erubami is a politician with large heart,  adding that his good deeds to his constituents will help him a alot in his  political career in future. 

Tella however urged other councilors  to emulate such worthy act, as a way of complementing the efforts of the State Government.

A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC in Abeokuta North Local Government,  Prince Oniyide  praised Erubami for his good deeds to his community, saying that his name will not be forgotten in the history of Ogun State Politics.

He urged  him to continue in his good deeds, adding that the sky is his limit.

Also the Senator, representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Alhaji Shuaib Salisu commended Erubami over his developmental projects in the community.

He added that Hon. Erubami is a future Governor, saying that Olabisi Onabanjo started like him and he later became the governor of Ogun State.

The former Chief of Staff  urged Erubami to keep the good work going as there is always a reward for every service rendered

While speaking with Honorable Erubami, he said " I became a councillor because giving something back to the community is extremely important to me. I believe that if we all played our part and worked together we would make our world a better place." I am passionate about my local community. I love my people and i want to see them smile always. 

He therefore appreciated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the leaders and members of All Progressive Congress, APC in Abeokuta North for giving him the  opportunity to serve his constituents.
