The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has called on everyone, especially Christians to strengthen their faith in God, so as to live a worthy life.
Governor Abiodun, gave the admonition while speaking at the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), South West Believers Conference, held at Antioch Church in Sagamu area of the Sate.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, the Governor said it has become important for people through their faith to have an understanding of God's mindset, thereby remaining focused and acknowledging His supremacy in their individual exploits.
Speaking on the theme: "A New Dawn", Governor Abiodun, who lauded the fellowship for converging such gathering capable of stimulating the faith of the people, tasked them to prioritise selfless service to their creator which would bring about an unusual encounter.
According to the Governor, " the State PFN Chairman, Apostle David Otaru is such an important person to the State and the body of Christ", enjoining the people of the State to remained steadfast and stay with God.
In his goodwill message, the National Vice-President of the PFN, Archbishop John Osa Oni said the purpose of the conference was to equip the men of God with necessary information and pray together to move the work of God and the nation forward.
Welcoming all Church leaders across the South West states in Nigeria to the conference, the State Chairman, PFN, Apostle David Otaru urged them to put use all the information gathered at the programme to expand the work God has put in their hands.
