A helicopter has crashed in Lagos, going up in flames.
According to POLITICS NIGERIA, the aircraft, which has not yet been identified, crashed near the AP Filling Station and United Bank For Africa on Oba Akran.
Witnesses say that the aircraft was flying low when it crashed.
The incident happened around 3.30 pm. As of now, it remains uncertain if the chopper pilots survived, and there is no clarity on other casualties as first responders are currently conducting rescue operations.
It was learnt that the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service are expected to arrive soon to assist in the emergency operation.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
