ALAYE AYETORO CHARGES PUBLIC OFFICE. HOLDERS ON TRANSPARENCY

    


                                                                             His Royal Majesty,Oba AbdulAzeez Adelakun, Alaye of Ayetoro has charged all public office holders in Nigeria to be selfless and transparent in their daily administrative pursuit,saying their sincerity would bring the country our of the wood and transform lives of people. 


Alaye of Ayetoro,, gave the charge during installation and confirment of chieftaincy  title of Lisa of Ayetoro on  Professor Samson Adegbite, an indigene of the  town who had carve a inche for himself in the field of medicine home and abroad. He is a Fellow of Addiction Medicine, Fellow of Adult and  Psycho - Analysis among others.  He is being  honored in recognition  of his selfless contributions and humanitarian services  to the wellbeing of  the town in general 


Oba Adelakun, underscored the need  for all public office holders to initiate ideas that would improve the lots of the people and also drive  the nation to an enviable height 


He charged the newly installed Lisa of Ayetoro to live up to expectation and not take the  confidence the people reposed in him for granted 


Alaye of Ayetoro said "Public Office is a platform to represent the interests of the people. Time has come for the Nigeria to regain its enviable position in the comity of the nations only feasibke with transparent and committed people." 

 ,                                        He appreciated President Ahmed Tinubu and  Governor Dapo Abiodun  for the choice of appointing  indigenes of Ayetoro In their cabinets,  assuring that all the nominees would not disappoint them as their appointments were liken to "tittles"only with responsibility at the national level. 


In their separate contributions, Chief Amona of Ayetoro, Elder Kunle Amosun and the Baale of Ilupeju, Ayetoro, Chief John Faleti charged the newly installed Lisa of Ayetoro and other public office holders to see their new appointment as a call to service and sincerely  pursue the  wellbeing of their people 


In his acceptance speech, Prof Samson Adegbite appreciated the Alaye in Council and the Monarch for conferment of the Chieftaincy title.   In his philanthropist manner, he  pledged to sink a modern Boreholes in the Palace, to replace the old furniture with modern one and construct a befitting toilet with bath room in the Palace among others for the township.
