Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Maiduguri last night to attend the wedding of Muhammad Babagana Umara Zulum, the son of Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State is also reportedly on his way to Borno, and other expected guests include Governor Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and former Governor Matawalle of Zamfara State.

Former Minister Isa Pantami is already in the state.
