As a responsive government at the grassroot, whose priority is to ensure safety of lives and properties, the Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State,  Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has tasked  the NSCDC to corroborate in lunching a manhunt after the perpetrators who specializes in kidnapping for ransom in the council area.

 The council boss disclosed this on Tuesday in his when he received  the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, Mr David Idowu Ojelabi and other top officers in the command who is on a special visit to the local government headquarters in Owode

The excutive chairman sought  more supports in the area of security challenges in the council area.

Speaking at the meeting, Amb. Ogunsola expressed displeasure on the account of atrocities of men of underworld, who recently launched an attacks on some churches  and innocent citizens in Ofada axis of the council.

He further reiterated his administration commitments in eradicating any form of banditry, kidnapping and killings of innocent souls in any form of disguise.

Ogunsola  therefore urged the NSCDC to corroborate in lunching a manhunt after the perpetrators who specializes in kidnapping for ransom in the council area.

While responding, Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi promised total co-operation and readiness to synergize  with other security operatives in the council area in order to achieve a total crime free environment for the dwellers at the grassroot.

He further pledged to deploy more personnel to enhance maximum results.
