The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adeshina has urged market men and women in Mowe, to desist from displaying wares on roads to avert road obstruction, especially on market days.
Ogunsola diclosed this on Wednesday during his inspection tour around the markets
According to him, it will ensure the free flow of traffic on roads.
He maintained that the local Government is working with the State Government to ensure sanity around the market.
The Executive chairman therefore appealed to the market men and women to refrain from displaying wares on roadsides as it leads to road obstruction.
Ogunsola also visited NUD lmedu nla Primary School Mowe to know their challannges
Ogunsola ater meeting with the headteacher of the school, Mrs Ige , promised to renovate the school and provide needed facilities.
The Headteacher thanked Ogunsola for his concern towards the betterment of the school.
The council chairman finally visited the Headquarter of Redeem Christain Church of God , RCCG after listening to their yearnings promised to provide borehole for them.
Meanwhile, the Iyaloja of Mowe, Morufat Odebiyi apprrciated the council chairman for visiting the market, promising that the market men and women will obey his directive.
She said " on behalf of the market men and women , we want to appreciate you for coming. Since your assumption into office, you have performed well in all ramification. Your visit today has indicated that you care about our welfarism and we appreciate the love you have for us.
Secretary Mowe market, Agboola kamorudeen Olarewaju also comended Ogunsola for coming around, describing him as an outstanding council chairman.
