President Bola Tinubu is meeting with immediate past National Chairman and Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators Abdullahi Adamu and Iyiola Omisore at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Reports have it that the meeting is held behind closed doors.

Adamu and Omisore resigned last week ahead of scheduled National Caucus and National Executive Council (NEC) meetings, which were to hold on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19, respectively.

Tinubu, by virtue of being the president of the country, is the leader of the party, and he is expected to determine a lot about the emergence of new party leaders.

The agenda of the meeting is yet to be disclosed
