President Bola Tinubu is meeting with Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The agenda of the meeting is yet to be ascertained.

Recall that the Chief of Defence Staff, Major-General Christopher Musa, is in a closed-door meeting with another northern governor, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.

The agenda of the meeting was to deliberate upon the prevailing security challenges in Zamfara State.

The meeting follows a series of incidents, including the recent killing of four police officers at a checkpoint.
