OGUN WORKERS TOLD TO EMBRACE ATTITUDINAL CHANGE WHILE ON DUTY

 



          In line with the zeal of the present administration to make civil service vibrant, formidable attitudinal changes have been identified as a key factor that workers need to embrace.


          Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Forestry, Mr. Timothy Olatunji gave the admonition while declaring open a one-day workshop tagged "The Growth Mindset; organised by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) office of the state Head of Service.


           He said that inculcating the idea would equip them to seamlessly deliver services and enhance productivity targeted at changing the attitude of officers towards achieving better results in various activities that concern the government, adding that the forum was an avenue for foresters to create new beliefs and ideas that could be deployed while on the field.


          Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau, Mr. Jola Oyeneye noted that the level of what one attains in life determines what one attains in life, adding that choices taken could either make or mar one’s success or otherwise’’. He said.


          He charged participants to evolve with time and embrace new trends to sharpen skills as they advance in life.


      In their remarks, some of the participants at the workshop appreciated the Bureau for the training and agreed that the exercise was filled with intelligent and knowledgeable facts which is the exact weapon needed at this time, promising to utilise the knowledge gained from the training for the development of the State.
