The 9th Agura of Gbagura land Abeokuta,His Royal Majesty, Oba Babajide Bakre,Jamolu II has Joined his ancestors.

According to a palace source, Oba Babajide joins his ancestor on Wednesday 14th June 2023.

The late monarch died on Monday at the age of 61

A Governorship candidate under the platform of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Mr Olufemi Oguntoyinbo Ajadi has meanwhile, commiserated with the people of Gbagura lamd on death of Oba Bakre .

He also condoled the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun over the loss, saying that the sad news came as a shock to him.

Ajadi' s condolence message was contained in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta 

“my heartfelt condolence goes to  the good people of Gbagura land, the governor of the  state, immediate and extended families of His Royal Highness. I  especially commiserate with the children and the wife on this loss"

“We beseech Allah to grant the monarch Al-Jannah Firdaus and comfort the family and the entire Gbagura land ”
