PTA APPLAUDS ABIODUN'S INTERVENTION IN EDUCATION SECTOR

 



          Members of Parents and Teachers Association, Yewa North Chapter, have commended the educational intervention of Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration across the State.


           The Chairperson of the Association, United Primary School, Ayetoro, Mrs. Grace Adedigba who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of the state, said rehabilitation and construction of new blocks of classroom have greatly improved the well-being and academic performance of the pupils in the localities.


          Mrs. Adedigba cited some of the projects to include, the rehabilitation and construction of block of classrooms in Ketu and Isokan Constituencies in the State, tagged 'Yellow Roof Revolution'. She also pointed out that the abolition of all forms of levies have brought endless relief for many indigent parents and also brought a new dawn into the education sector in the area


          Also Speaking in separate interviews, two parents Mr. Alani Eweje and Mrs. Muyibat Adedeji said that procurement of furniture by the government for schools’ use have addressed the challenges of occasioned with the shortages in schools. They commended the Government for introducing OgunTech programme which has improved learning conditions of pupils of both public Primary and Secondary across the council area.


          Speaking in the same vein, two Primary six pupils of the school, Master Timothy Idowu and Miss Rofiat Salako commended Prince Dapo Abiodun's intervention on education.


          According to master Timothy " our school is now looking good unlike before, I am very happy for the development and I want to appreciate Governor Dapo Abiodun for coming to rehabilitate and construct new blocks of classrooms for us. May God continue to bless him as he is making learning conducive for us in this community"


          Jagunmolu of Ilogun,Ayetoro, Alani Odewole, said that, people want to feel the impact of  government in their localities, saying the  efforts had increased pupils enrolment into schools and increased their academic performance at the  various  academic competitions in the state. He noted that government should not relent  in its efforts at making life more meaningful for the people.
