The Executive chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina has received the Commissioner of police in Ogun State, Olarewaju Yomi Oladimeji in his office on Tuesday.

He  assured  the Commissioner of police that the local government will continue to cooperate with them in ensuring peace and security of lives and properties in the local government.

Ogunsola i commended the State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in his  efforts in putting an end to cultism and other criminal offences in the State.

He appreciated the Commissioner for his visit,  saying that he was happy about it.

Ogunsola also used the opportunity to commend all the DPOs and the Area Commander within the local government, saying that they have been performing wonderfully well in protecting them and their properties

He commended the CP for  his  effectiveness and readiness to protect the people of the state in general.

The council chairman informed that there has been peace in the local government since he assumed office.

The Commissioner while speaking with newsmen commended Ogunsola on his exploit in securing the local government.

Olarewaju maintained that his reason for his visit was to familiarize himself with the council chairman, adding that he has heard good news about him.
