The Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun has described the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Ogun State Branch as a professional body that has lived up to its expectations as their inputs has helped the State tremendously.
Fagbohun who stated this in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, when the Association paid him a courtesy visit, to congratulate him on his appointment, said the Association has not disappointed Ogun State through their hard work and dedication.
He further called on them to continue partnering with the government, saying, ‘’let's help to enhance our Internally Generated Revenue and work against wastages and leakages. We must not fail ourselves."
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Association, Alhaja Taibat Alim, from the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun for providing enabling environment for their members in various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), assuring that, they would continue to uphold the core value of the Association by being transparent, accountable and noble.
In a related development, the Head of Service also played host to the Inspectors of Taxes Forum, Ogun State Civil Service and Institute of Charted Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN, Ogun State Public), led by the Chairman and Vice Chairman, Messrs Hezekiah Sobayo and Ayodele Sulaimon respectively.
