OGUN HoS ADVISED MDAs TO ADOPT REVENUE GENERATION INITIATIVE

Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of Ogun State Government have been tasked to look inwards and adopt initiatives that would enable the present administration to generate more revenue.

The Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, gave the charge while receiving the management team of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC), led by its General Manager, Mrs. Toyin Sogbesan, who came to felicitate him on his appointment.

Fagbohun said when more than enough revenue was generated, government and agencies would be able to cater for their needs which would translate to development and a better welfare package for workers, urging the Corporation staffers to be more productive and always give honour to constituted authorities.

"Look inwards to tackle all challenges. Help the government to help you. Be productive, raise more than enough IGR and work more on debt recovery", the Head of Service charged.

In her remarks, Mrs. Sogbesan said the Corporation deemed it fit to identify with the Head of Service on his appointment, describing him as a seasoned administrator with vast experience to move the Service forward, soliciting his assistance to help the Corporation on procurement of new transmitter, generator and OB van, as well as other personnel issues.

In a similar vein, the Joint Health Sectors Union of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu have been called upon to embrace partnership and collaboration, and allow those saddled with administrative responsibility to do.

Mr. Fagbohun made the call in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, when the Union led by its Chairman, Comrade Dehinde Ikudaisi, came to felicitate him on his appointment, assuring that all issues tabled before him would be looked into with fairness.

Speaking earlier, Comrade Ikudaisi appealed to the HoS to assist the Hospital to facilitate implementation of hazard allowance and more welfare packages for the staffers, as well as other personnel issues.
