GIVE MY SUCCESSOR FULL SUPPORT, HoS URGES WORKERS

The Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun has called on the members of staff of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to cooperate fully and support his successor to keep moving the State forward.

Mr. Fagbohun made the call when he went on an handover visit to his successor, Dr. Rotimiolu Akinlesi at the Ministry.

According to him, the hand of fellowship extended to him by all members of staff, especially, the management staff, must be on the increase for the new Permanent Secretary, as he is a likeable person who is ready to put his all in the service.

The Head of Service assured the new Permanent Secretary of the good hands who are on ground at the Ministry to make his work seamless and urged both parties to nurture a good relationship to fruitfulness.

"Cooperate with him, he's a likeable person. Extend hands of fellowship to him more than you did to me and nurture good relationship among one another", the HoS said.

Receiving the new PS, the Commissioner in the Ministry, Hon. Ganiyu  Oladunjoye Hamzat, who described the passionate relationship existing amongst them as second to none in less than one year of his headship in the Ministry,  solicited for such and even more from Dr. Akinlesi.

Responding, the newly posted Permanent Secretary, Dr. Akinlesi, who was taken aback by the warm reception, sought the unalloyed support as well as cooperation of the staffers, pledged to continue to put in his best than the past and would work diligently to make the government and more importantly his predecessor very proud at the end of the day.

Meanwhile, the Head of Service received in audience the Alumni Association of the National Institute, Ogun State Chapter led by its Chairman, a retired Head of Service, Elder Sola Adeyemi and the Executive members of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) led by its Chairperson, Mrs. Adenike Tonade.
