The newly installed Oba Aminisan of Oko Kingdom has been advised to use his wealth of knowledge to improve the socio economic development of oko kingdom, Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.

The Akarigbo and Paramount  Rulers of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi who stated this at the presentation of staff and instrument of office to the newly installed Aminisan of Oko II, HRH Oba Babatunde Odunayo,  Fesikilo II. Said the Monarch should use his wealth of experience to attract development that would improve the living standard of indigenes of the kingdom and the State in general.

Oba Ajayi admonished the new Kabiyesi to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor, late Oba Mufutau Sanni, advising him to develop an agenda that would empower more youths and make them productive so as to engender peaceful co-existence among diverse ethnic groups in the land rather than engaging in unhealthy rivalry. 

In his speech, The Chairman Sagamu Local Government Hon. Jubril Odulate described the new Kabiyesi as a man of the people, a great achiever and an astute leader who has contributed immensely to the development of governance till his last official assignment as one  of the  staff in the Local Government, saying that the presentation of the staff of office to the new Kabiyesi was a true reflection of the wish of the people.

Hon. Odulate pledge to support developmental initiatives of the new Kabiyesi, praying that his reign would bring more development to Oko Community, Sagamu Local Government Area and the State.

The Chairman lauded Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration for the various developmental projects embarked upon in the Community, thanking him for the delivery of dividends of democracy which was evident for all to see.

In his acceptance speech, the new Kabiyesi, Oba Babatunde Odunayo, the Fesikilo II appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun, the Akarigbo and good people of Oko kingdom for making the day a reality. He promised that his reign would bring more Development  to the land as he would not relent on his oars to take Oko kingdom to a greater height. 

He explained that the socio-economic contributions of  his predecessor,  Late Oba Mufutau Sanni for well-being of the kingdom were conspicuous and impacted lives of many people in Oko kingdom, assuring the people of his determination to sustain the tempo,  promote peaceful co-existence among the diverse ethic groups in the land,  support youth development among others in the kingdom.
