The Executive Chairman of Ijebu North, Mr. Omobolaji Odusanya, has presented budget estimate of #4,655,534,383.26 to be spent by the Local Government for the fiscal year.

Mr Odusanya in his speech during the budget defence before the Legislative house appreciates the leader of the house, Hon. Olanrewaju Abass and all the legislative arm for the cordial relationship that exists between the Executive , Legislative and the Carrier Officers by harmonizing and utilizing the available resources in implementing the target goals in the development of the council together adding that he appreciates them for their timely effort in passing the Bill into law

He reiterated that ,the year 2023 Proposed estimate is generally prepared showing the performance in terms of Revenue and Expenditure for the outgoing year 2022 and the Appropriated Revenue for the Current Fiscal Year, promising that all projects embarked upon shall be completed.

In his acceptance speech, the leader of the house, Hon. Abass Olanrewaju, commended the Chairman, Mr. Omobolaji Odusanya, for making a frantic effort to present the appropriation bill despite the recent daunting challenges. 

He said the estimated budget presented will not only be implemented when approved but, will further consolidate the good work this administration had embarked upon by providing Dividend of democracy for the citizenry of Ijebu North local government.

Present at the event were: Leader of the house, Hon. Abass Olanrewaju, all members of legislative council, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Adeyemi Comfort, secretary to the local government, Hon.Adeniyi Sojinrin, all the executive cabinet members, the HOLGA, and all the directors and HOD of all department.
