The Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Ogun State has promised its support to the development of the Public Service and the society at large.
The Chairman of the Association, Engr. Adeniyi Abiola who stated this during a felicitation visit to the new Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun on his appointment, said one of their aims is to also support the present administration by contributing to good Governance and progress of the State.
Engr. Abiola, who described Mr. Fagbohun as someone with a high pedigree, track record of performance and competence, explained that "the association has been contributing to the training and development of the workforce, intervening severally in disputes between Government and labor’’.
He promised to continue interacting with the new Head of Service on ways to enhance workers' welfare for improved productivity and industrial harmony in the State.
In his response, the Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, appreciated them for their service to humanity and promised to build on the legacies they left behind.
In a related development, the Head of Service also received in his office, the Institute of Directors, South West Zone led by Mr. Emmanuel Adeniran, the Nigeria Computer Society, led by Mr. Tola Ajagbe and the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), led by Commander Seni Ogunyemi, with a call on them to continue to be forthright in the discharge of their duties.
