The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has described the outgoing Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro as a nice and easy-going person, who has contributed greatly to the development of the State.
The Deputy Governor stated this during a farewell get-together, organised by the Body of Permanent Secretaries, for the outgoing Head of Service in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
She described Dr. Aigoro as a good team player who supported the present administration in achieving the landmark achievements recorded in the State, affirming his immense input to the Civil Service.
She also appreciated the body of Permanent Secretaries for being there for the government, describing them as good executors of plans set for the development of Ogun State
"Our success is your success as well, for we may have a plan but you are the one who executes this on behalf of the Government. I want to thank the body of Permanent Secretaries for supporting us, showing the way and being there as backbone of Ogun Civil Service. Dr. Aigoro is the fourth HoS we have had and we don't have a choice but to do the farewell as it is the process in the service. When you are all saying he is a nice man, I can also tell you that people outside Ogun State also know he is nice", she said.
Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, who doubles as the Chairman, Body of Permanent Secretaries, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun said Dr. Aigoro has done his best to transform the Civil Service.
Responding, the outgoing Head of Service, appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for giving him the opportunity to serve, saying it was natural for him to serve humanity.
